Tiong Bahru Hawker Center

Koh drive us to tiong bahru hawker center for lunch after our ice cream session I jumped into the long queue to try a bowl of 抢滩大行动Gold medal award stall... Tried this store before media corp approach them... terrible... tired again after they won 30 YES from 30 judges... critics : generous ingredient but so so only.. talking about prawn noodle, the critical hit or failure point will be on their soup.. their soup 不够入味 loh!! wonder if their standard has dropped!

They use generous portion of rib.. expensive rib... lotsa meat and mini bone.. probably also the reason why the soup doesnt 入味 .. we know very good soup base are 熬from猪大骨..

Of coz there is still the not to be missed Tiong Bahru 水馃

Tom's Palette Ice Cream Making Session

We queued like 2 months before our turn come!!! Session was hosted in Tom's Palette shop last Sunday morning~ We made green tea and pina colada ice cream!

Just watched this 1981 oldies 梦的衣裳 off the cable!! & i fall in love with 秦汉 AGAIN!!! i love watching his old shows~ especially those 琼瑶 novel turned movies series

Plot: Rich gal love poor guitar boy (AH-B 钟镇涛), boy know he cant give her happiness, family also force them to break up, send gal to USA, she suicide there... Rich granny about to die, want to see gal, 2nd brother found this gal that look like her, bring her into the house pretend to be sister, fall in love with her, new gal want to know about the other gal pass and her story with the boy, went to look for him, exploit for more~.....
